Established in 2012, Akagera Design & Construction has the ability to design and build commercial, industrial, and residential properties in Rwanda and Burundi with strategic design partners based in Italy.

Projects under development:

AMAREMBO CITY CENTER: Mixed-use development in Kigali, Rwanda city center with nearly 91,000 M2 of built space.

KICUKIRO GREEN SOLAR TOWERS: Apartment estate housing 7 towers of 10 stories each, which will be 60% sufficient on solar power renewable energy.

REBERO SOLAR VILLAGE: High end luxury living housing estate comprising of 25 individual homes, which will be self sufficient in power consumption using the latest solar power technology.

BLUE TANGANYIKA COMPLEX: Mixed-use development in Bujumbura, Burundi city center with nearly 40,000 M2 of built space.

KIRIRI GARDEN HOTEL: 4 star hotel, 80% completed, in the Kiriri hills of Bujumbura.

Completed projects:

VIRAGO COMPLEX: 4,000 M2 office block completed in mid 2013, handed over to Burundi Revenue Authority (OBR) as their headquarter building in October 2013.
